My books tend to fall into the 40+ mature category (although the characters in my Whimsical Dreams series are in their 30's, I've been writing it for so long). I actually wrote an article for LGBTQ+ Reads a while back on writing midlife butch/femme romance:

I use them mainly to keep track of my characters. For example, I had 13 coven witches, all integral to the story, in my book Coven. There was no way I could keep a handle on their primary magick, their roles, their elements, etc., if I hadn't.

In my paranormal-themed books and novellas, there is a lot of room for the fantastical. I write about shifters, witches, vampires, demons, you name it. I'm currently working on a dark multiverse book that's been so much fun. Writing fantasy is amazing.
