As the name suggests, the house was built from discarded plastic bottles covered with plaster. It was a monument to the transformative nature of art open to all kinds of creators from around the world. I can only pray it survived the turmoil in Nica since I was there in 2016.</p>

Sometimes I'll take photos on my walks but not always. I'll usually write in my journal about anything interesting that I see, smell, hear, etc.</p>

I think and see in words. My image producing abilities are limited.</p><p>I can only think of one image that has inspired my witting. It's of a woman who is a minor antag in my WIP and will be the major antag in vol. 5 or new novel. I'm a visual thinker, and my flashes of inspiration often comes as mental images or like little video clips of a scene. </p><p>The spark that began the fantasy murder mystery was an image of a young man, dirty and travel weary carrying a saddle. Working out who he was &amp; what happened next became a novel.</p>

Nature inspires me more than any images I've seen. I took this one in the redwood forest in northern CA. You can see a couple more in my profile photos. The size of these trees is staggering.</p>

How it takes something so common - the night sky - and portrays it in a way that's never been seen before.</p><p>He sees something deeper. Something different. But something immensely beautiful.<br>That's what I want my writing to do - reveal the mundane in a way that explodes with light!</p>
