I was reminded that this is the 10 year anniversary of having my bike. It's been a cool decade of at least 60000 miles. Here's some of my favorite moments, and I'm looking forward to the next 10.

Grrr another road bike issue tonight. Topped up the pressure, all was good. Get half a mile from home, rear tube finds a gap between the rim and tire and blows.

At least it was close enough to walk home, and I just took the Brompton right back out the door for a cool 33 mi.

Ah well, it beats car maintenance by orders of magnitude. But I think I'm done with this folding tire soft bead thing, not the first time this has happened. I gotta find somewhere in #Boston that will sell me 27-¼ wire bead tires.

I might have gotten a flat tire about 15 minutes into my ride this evening, but the annoyance of that was wiped away by the hilarity of catching up to a group of riders, one of which had his helmet on backwards!

The visor was covering the back of his neck and what would normally be the back of the helmet was sticking up off his forehead like a duck’s ass. 🤦‍♂️

I couldn’t believe his buddies didn’t tell him. They weren’t on crappy bikes either.

I saw an article a few weeks ago about how their spring merchandise is stuck in customs because of the tariffs.

So is this a sale to try and drum up enough cash to pay the tariffs, or are they about to go under and are liquidating what's left?

Durch ein spontanes Kinderfrei konnte ich meinen heutigen Arbeitsrückweg strecken und noch fix auf Wald- und Wiesenmodus kalibrieren. Richtig guter Arbeitsausgleich, jedes mal aufs Neue.

Taking care of US "business" with tariffs they said. Not for mom and pop bike (gear) shops it seems. A crying shame, that's what it is.
