I've been in Los Angeles for a few days, and on the advice of @jburneko and @AllTheAmpersands , I made a quick visit to Geeky Teas and Games, a #FLGS in Burbank.
It had three shelves of non-D&D RPGs and a few spinner racks of RPG zines.
Worth a visit.

With the gift-giving holidays upon us it’s good to remember to shop at your Friendly Local Game Store or #FLGS. I take a look at four relatively “local” stores among my favorites.

We went to our #FriendlyLocalGamesStore on saturday, 'cause the kids wanted to check out what their #Pokemon day was all about. I got to be the chaperoning parent for my two and a couple of their friends, and it was such fun.
There were a great mix of adult and kid collectors and players, who were all there to just share in the joy of the hobby. The adults there were happy to chat to the kids about how to make fair trades, and how to assess the condition of the cards. The staff were happy to check trades as well, and gave fair and educated assesments of trades so that the kids weren't losing out, or unintentionally making unfair trades.
One of the adults even sat down with the kids and taught them how to make a good deck for matches, which led to a pokemon deck building and #gaming day at our place on sunday.
It was a great experience for the kids and we're super thankful to the shop and everyone for such a lovely day.
Having visited Petrie’s and Gamers Haven, I checked out Yellow King in #ColoradoSprings, due to a recommendation by a guy in Petrie’s after I told him I was looking for #OSR games.
I hit Paydirt! This would definitely be one of, if not the store for me. I walked in and felt at home. The store is crammed with goodies; the type of place you could go to every week and find something you had overlooked before.
I felt a bit like Harry Potter entering Olivander’s. Awesome.
