The Stompers included cornetist Charlie Gall, and clarinetist Eric Neilson, Jim on bass. The original LP only sold 1,000 copies; this was Lonnie Johnson's last regular recording.

There's rumours about we will play Wychwood Barns every second market once they move back outside, and once a month at Leslieville!

For our first gig of 2025, the Eighth Street Orchestra returns to the venerable Cameron House on Queen West — you know, that strip TorStar says doesn’t have any culture anymore — and while the year may be square (45²) you and I can all be at the Cameron House instead! Dancing is inevitable.
