Well, today’s scones seem to want to be fishies And one wants tk be an oyster, with blueberries as pearls.
They were supposed to be wedges. No worries. They’re still tasty.
Another Henry Moore potato from my potato pusher.
After washing it, I thought it looked like a turtle, paddling. After peeling, it looks like a turtle, swimming to the surface.
I shall call it "Spud, Rising to the Surface"
Beef and Guinness Stew has finished blurbling. Now, letting it rest for tomorrow. Because stew tastes better the next day.

Decided to make baked meatballs. Forgot h m (extra) milk powder grocery store sausages have. Another good reason to use my butcher’s offerings.

Guess what: I went downstairs and found my water softener leaking. Argh
My lovely plumber said he'll stop by today to look at it. So, I baked these orange cranberry muffins.
Maybe that should be my cookbook title: What I Baked For My Plumber.
My recently rebalanced oven has been christened with cornmeal muffins. No hint of listing :)

Today was an adventure, so am getting the kurma for tomorrow’s New Year Biryani prepped now. Hopefully I will be out of the kitchen before 2024 ends.
I’ve got a once-a-day cook once, eat twice kitchen pottering project on the go between Christmas and New Year.
I’ve always refashioned leftovers, so some are tried and true and others are playing with ideas.
