#ScribesAndMakers 07 — Many authors write the book they couldn't find. What does your work offer that you couldn't find elsewhere?

I wanted to have an overwhelmed main character. See, almost all space adventures have that stellar captain who, while maybe struggling, is the woman or man at the helm, the one who wants to be in charge and who is the key to every solution in the end, even if they might get help from side characters.

I wanted to see a captain who doesn't want to be a captain and who is confronted with a situation he can't manage, at least not on his own. Which doesn't mean my main character isn't important, heck, Harold Galahad is the POV character, but I like to see solutions based on teamwork rather than the one heroic figure.
