The Great Western Road Bridge over the River Kelvin at Kelvinbridge in the West End of Glasgow. Built in 1891, it was designed by Bell and Miller, with the iron work being created by William Arrol. It replaced an earlier bridge, the remains of which can still be seen under the current one.

Continuing the theme of weird stuff that's been appearing around Glasgow lately, I spotted this sign on the morning dog walk at the humpback bridge on the Kelvin Walkway. It seems even Luke Skywalker and Han Solo need signposts to find their way around a galaxy far, far away!
Happy Easter everyone! Dad's dressed up as the Easter Bunny this year to hand out eggs to all the little ones in our colony. I love chocolate eggs, especially the mackerel-flavoured ones! Mmmmmm, chocolate mackerel!
I came across this little fellow peeking out fron a crevice in an old wall alongside the Kelvin Walkway in Glasgow (close to the weir for the old North Woodside Fint Mill).

Mum decided to take a leaf out of the Australian Christmas handbook today and do a bit of holiday surfing. Dad says she's crazy as Scotland's a lot colder than Australia right now!

We've been making snow penguins - given the weather in Glasgow at the moment, I really don't know where Dad got the snow from. Mum says it's probably best not to ask!
We might not have done very well with putting up the Christmas lights, but with Mum's supervision, we did a lot better with the Christmas tree!
The @glasgowpenguins are putting on a fine dispaly for Christmas this year. Well worth checking out if you're around the West End. For those who don't already know, they can be found on the Kelvin Walkway near the old North Woodside Flint Mill.
Today, Dad asked me to help put up Christmas lights here in our wall. It did not go well!
