Booked at late May trip to Stockholm for me and my youngest. His brother is doing scouty things and his mother is volunteering for said scouty things, so I figured a father/son trip would do us good.
I _love_ how easy #CrossBorderRail between Denmark and Sweden is. Trains to Malmö every 20 minutes and the X2000 to Stockholm from there.
Booked a hotel right by Stockholm Central Station, so getting to and from the train at that end is beyond easy as well.
Any recommendations for what to see in #Stockholm with a 10 year old boy who loves trains and military stuff (technical term)?
This orange- and yellow melange colour of tulip might well be my favourite. There's so much warmth to the colour and the shifting of hues makes it so alive.

Here can be found boulders, cliffs, clearings and a variety of trees like oak trees, spruces, pines, birches, hazels and many others, as well as rich (at least for a densely populated area) fauna. In Swedish language a "skogsdunge" or a "skogsbacke".

#Stockholm life includes bombs and shootings. The drug economy drives the carnage. The Far Right blames immigration. But the customer base is mostly ethnic, middle-class Swedes. The people doing the selling (and dying/killing) are those that are economically vulnerable, antisocial, unqualified/uneducated or rebellious. They live in cheaper areas of Stockholm- like where I live. These areas are diverse, energetic, underserviced and overrepresented in unemployment and relative poverty. It's a cycle that I believe could be broken with education and law reform. Dismantling the drug economy would be a major step forward....

I år har Rosendal Garden Party lyckats med konststycket att inte boka en enda akt som 52-53-årig kulturvänster med kedjehus i Nacka vill höra. Förra året drämde de till med både Massive Attack och Cardigans, så då var det nästan övertydligt vem de ville locka.
(Självklart skulle jag ha gått på Kraftwerk om det hade varit sättningen från 1978.)
