Wrote a handful of new people in addition to my regular penpals.

During the month I used up an A5 pad of Tomoe River paper, an entire sheet of stamps, and finished off 2 additional partials of stamp sheets. (Also used up a bit of my A5 Tomoe River Sanzen paper.)

I've kept up on the #IncoWriMo this year. Thank goodness for postcards and the fact that each piece of correspondence doesn't have to be unique.

The coffee is good this morning.

I made my wife laugh with what I wrote on the last 3 postcards that were dropped into the box today.

February is International Correspondence Writing Month #incowrimo Part of the writing I'll be do is sending letters to my US Congressional Representatives. These are my 2nd/3rd letters of the month so far. The air mail envelope is for my pen pal while the envelope with the wax seal is for a coworker. If anyone is interested send me a mailing address (I am willing to send mail internationally) and I’ll write you a letter ASAP!

It's day 5 of the International Correspondence Writing Month, and I'm keeping up to date with it all.

It's a reprieve from the usual. In tackling the goal I find that I'm doing more journal writing to get my thoughts down on paper before throwing them into my correspondence and possibly messing things up.

Tomorrow begins #IncoWriMo with the First of February. International Correspondence Writing Month is a means to slow down and to listen to the rhythms of your own handwriting and the meditative thinking that goes along with it. It's an excellent time to reconnect with others through the hand written word. It's a time to have some fun. It's not about pressuring you about doing it right or wrong.

I just learned about #InCoWriMo and I think it’s exactly what I need. I’ve gotten out of the habit of letter writing and would like to make it a regular part of my life again.
