No job, can't drink the water, and there's a tree on your roof? Rent is still due!? These landlords are off their gourds! 🤯

On Saturday, we're inviting you to carve a pumpkin, connect with neighbors, and raise much needed money for disaster rent relief. For this event, Firestorm is partnering with the folks at Grace Covenant to direct funds to some of our most vulnerable neighbors. (Sure, the anarchists and the church folks teaming up for a Halloween event sounds like the setup to a joke, but we've seen the great work they're doing and we've got a long history of collaborating with people who are into the version of Jesus that loved sex workers and flipped tables.)

Carving tools and hot apple cider will be provided to all participants and no one will be turned away for lack of funds! If you're feeling laid-back, we'll have some jack-o'-lantern templates for you to try on. If you're feeling ambitious, join the competition for the best gourd and maybe you'll walk away with a $100 gift card to our bookshop! 🎃

Im Zentrum ein schwarzes Cocotte-Töpfchen aus Porzellan, mit Katzenbild und Aufdruck "purrfect stew". Darin eine weiße Quarkmasse mit Schnittlauchröllchen obenauf und leuchtend roten Fliegenpilzen, die aus Radieschen geschnitzt sind.

Halloween is coming! Und du hat noch immer keinen Schimmer, was du zur Halloween Köstliches an Gruselessen zubereiten kannst? Hold my beer - äh, Halloween-Cocktail! Ich eile zur Rettung mit Halloween-Rezepten und -Bastelanleitungen aus über 15 Jahren. (Und ja, einige Bilder sind wirklich ziemlich gruselig schlecht, weil alt. Egal, viel Spaß damit!)

Halloweenparty fürs Kind (okay, okay.... ich konnte meine Halloweensucht ausleben 😁) hinter uns gebracht:
Im Innenhof, mit Hygienekonzept. 7 Kinder um die 7-8. Klappte super. Wir hatten alle Spaß: Ich hab mit den Kids Zaubertränke gebraut und sie in der Candy Bar bedient, dann gab es noch Stopptanzen und eine Pinata. Ein Dad tauchte im Krümelmonster-Onesie auf. Die anderen Eltern waren erholsam Nicht-Stino und auch eher Team Weird. (Yay!) Marshmallows grillen habe ich dann aber ausfallen lassen - genug Zucker. Hoffe ich bin morgen unter den Lebenden, dann reiche ich noch Fotos nach.
