Today I used Hypothesis to leave some annotated (and linked) feedback on a website:
https://web.hypothes.is/
Hypothesis is a web tool I learned more about mainly through the Summer Institute in Digital Literacy back in 2019, but I haven’t used it extensively.
It’s powerful!
TIL: Long before named podcast, O'Reilly (yes, those with the animal books) produced a weekly talk radio show “Geek of the Week”. Thanks to the Internet Archive, quite some of the episodes are available for your enjoyment: https://archive.org/search?query=creator%3A%22Internet+Talk+Radio%22&and%5B%5D=subject%3A%22Geek+of+the+Week%22 #vintagecomputing #retrocomputing #geekoftheweek

Super cool and powerful to see how #BlueSky is supporting curated lists using custom hashtags. Hopefully this will be a feature option in #Mastodon soon as well!

Yikes. A well written as well as depressing post. Makes me more thankful for my (comparatively better paid) K-12 teaching job.

If you need to plan a meeting or event with multiple folks and check availability (and not everyone is on the same calendaring system like Google or Outlook, or may not know how to use those systems for meeting coordination) I enjoy using When2meet:

It’s free, simple, and visually powerful. Great UI / design.
