How very #Portland to have solar panels on your roof and two old trucks parked outside.

A regular looking single family house that looks about 80 years old with solar panels added along the ridge of the roof. On the street in front is a greenish blue Dodge Camper Special that looks 60-70 years old.

A rust colored old pickup truck that has seen better days. It looks 80 years old and has a chipped and dented fender and body panels.

My wife had an event at the Ontario Turtle Conservation Centre so I combined it with a side quest into Toronto to get a nearly "unobtainium" new windshield for my Toyota MR2 (AW11).

I really gotta stop browsing kijiji for entertainment purposes - money pit of sorts.

Digging through some old photos and stumbled upon this one of my old LWB Suzuki Sidekick. Good little truck, simpler times.

I should dig out some pictures of my SJ-413.

1993 Suzuki Sidekick (4 door) in grey, lifted 3" and 33x9.5x15 tires on original JLX spec wheels (not recommended wheel fitment - too narrow for tires).

I do really enjoy this little car. Sometimes I just sit back and stare at it.

But that's not going to get the Xidas and bushings installed.

Montego blue Miata sitting on jack stands in a garage with a grey floor, large grey steel cabinets and white kitchen cabinets. Miscellaneous junk scattered in pockets in the garage. View is looking from the rear, driver's side quarter (LHD) of the car. Overhead lighting is making the paint and chrome bits reflect light.

Started the weekend limping my $2500 Mazda 3 because it smelled like it was going to catch fire after each drive, diagnosed the source as the alternator belt/tensioner

Now the caveat of this cheap car is that it sat for unknown amount of time likely hood propped open and all of the hardware topside of the engine is rusted/looks crusty

so I was surprised when each bolt broke loose as expected and this was an actual 15 minute job

I should play the lottery with this luck #carsofmastodon
