Was würde denn passieren, wenn dein Antagonist am Ende doch gewinnt?

AI ist da ja "sehr transparent" nichts was die einzelnen Personen wirklich bemerken würden. Vielleicht die ein oder andere Spezies kriegstreibender blauer Gorilla und Kakerlaken weniger im Universum.

AJ's Hoffnung ist wohl ein Heilmittel aber das ist schwer zu sagen, ohne AJ's Aufzeichnungen zu kennen...
Oder das AJ sich erinnern könnte.

At the same time, in another part of the galaxy, a speaker started gently humming as AI started to talk to some nefarious guest.

09.05.2025 Worin glaubt sich dein Antagonist im Recht?

AI:
"Im Recht glauben? Im Recht sein? Ein interessanter Unterschied nicht wahr?"
Für AI ist das weniger eine Frage des Glaubens als eine Frage des Wissens. Zumindest verhält sich die Person/die Personengruppe hinter der Persona AI so. Alles sind unumstößliche Fakten, Fakten lassen Schlüsse zu und können manipuliert werden um "bessere" Auskommen zu haben, wenn nur die richtige Kraft im richtigen Moment den richtigen Anstoß gibt. AI hegt keine Zweifel daran dass alles was in AI's Auftrag geschieht richtig ist.

AJ:
Für AJ ist es wohl die Hoffnung die dems taten richtig macht, oder die Gewohnheit am Ende stellt sich die Frage kann eine Person deren Gedächtnis nicht zuverlässig funktioniert Mehr als nur an das glauben was sie tut oder vielmehr sich selbst glauben dass das was sie tut einen Sinn hat.

AI: described from the Author/Reader perspective.

A warm benevolent voice, but a bit mechanical at times, if they aren't telling you why you perspective or ideas are flawed, misguided or outright wrong. The voice always come over a sort of speaker system at times invisible hidden in the walls, from your spacesuits internal speakers or over the NIN Port of a person that is connected to the Neural Interface Network so basically inside their head.
It seems a well spoken person, able to communicate in several different languages not only the common "Standards" which implies a sort of AI is used to translate still the voice always seems to be the same. It could be possible that are multiple persons hide behind the setup ...
It can get a sinister subnote at times and the speach patterns aren't always the same nor do they seem to be altered for outsiders...

Villains:

I doubt that they even listen between the screeching, screaming and shooting.

Antagonists:
AJ: ignoring the topic, they would most likely not remember what was the reason for the criticism and probably won't remember the critic after one or two days if they didn't write it down.

AI: turning the tale around how this is the necessary to secure our place in the universe. Throwing the critique back to the critic and make sure that they see their approach is shortsided, simple minded etc.

AI: "I'm not interested in changing anything about the political landscape. Contrary to what you might believe i even working to secure it's survival. After all I'm not Matriarc, don't get me wrong she has a noble cause l think, ending gender segregation in her species, however that might work out in the future, but we as a whole society have more urgent pressures, as estimated 500.000ish Bethosians, assigned males, living in a golden cage, haven't we? Nobility will not win a war against the Eltaryn nor will it end it."

AJ: "The Union is the best we have, but they need to step up their game... I'm not an officer in its ranks for no reason."

Matriarc: "The Union needs to realize that the Bethosian Matriarchy is build on crimes & lies against their own kin & I will make them!"

The Eltaryn - No rest for the wicket their machinery doesn't seem to stop.

Antagonists
AI: The speaker stays silent so who knows.

AJ: depends on what they remember... Writing in their "diary."
Training on the shooting range.
Meditation or combat training.
It seems before they lost their coherence of and most of their memories they had a lot of stuff they did to relax.

In case of AI it would be purely guessing a person that takes such great measures to be as illusive as possible may have a reason or none.

AJ well I answered a lot about AJ partial memory loss, fractured memory an inability to make new memories in a constant way.
The death of KJ (Kiara Johnsen) theirs beloved wife is etched with brutal clarity into their mind but when it happened or on which planet AJ can't remember for their live. Now working for AI, AJ recognizes that they worked for the Unions Alliance as a SHADE, not unlike Kira. But how long this is gone or if they are still active they don't know for sure.
They for sure where a captain once and a deeply loving spouse.

If their story goal was no longer an issue, what would your antagonist do?

AI: probably running some sort of company.

AJ: Heal. Focus on getting treated, if possible, for their constantly happening memory loss/resurgence and issues resulting from that.
Maybe find a new love and honor Kiara with a tree in their garden.
Maybe after all AJ could open a bakery and work on the restaurant plans, if they find a way to deal with their memory problems.

620. What do you like about writing your antagonist / villain?

When I write on AI and AJ it's quite different.
Since AI is more of an Shadow, who still needs a good name or title, I can pull of "magic tricks" without breaking immersion, I don't need to describe it's appearance because no one else knows who is behind the whole charade, hear it's voice on am empty room oh clearly some speakers are somewhere.

AJ real started to grow on me, they was a means for me to have a challenger for Kira and Crew on the same level and for me in learning to use non binary lingo (I think I started to find a food hold with that even in German). I love the idea that AJ and Kira have so similar life's but one lost almost everything and the other even more yet still they reacted to the losses completely differently. I hope than AJ will make sense to the readers in the end.

AI:"Your Terran trait of categorizing personalities is jarring at best. Moral Standards don't account for survival.
If you can survive without shifting your perception and your standards, I applause you, but have to warn you. The downward evil universe and some of its inhabitants might bring you down on a level you might thought unthinkable of yourself. Is it evil to manipulate and betray? Most likely if your society isn't broken or one of the few species that see this as best moral standards. If your goal is survival, how does this change the perspective? You maybe should familiarize yourself with time travel paradox stories, they are often so delightful insightful."

AJ:"Let them be judged by their deeds not their goals versus let them be judged by the outcome not the path taken."

611. Have you ever been able to relate to your antagonist/villain? If yes, then how so?

I can relate to all of my characters.
On different levels & on different angles, but even my cannibal in Fallout 76 has relatable attributes for me. I'm a vegan & so I project my feelings of eating animal products onto her + a bit of madness from the Cthulhu Mythos, Harley Quinn from Batman, Jynx from LOL/Arcane (or at least what I red/looked up) & my anger from the days a s a victim of organized mobbing.

AI has my innerst wish of staying anonymous, my feeling of something has to change & my point of view that "if you want to have something changed, do it," which I unshackled from my ethics.

AJ relates to me on a different level.
Not for my GI but for my memory which works very selective. Car crash? Almost erfect recollection of the events. Telling a loved one something close & personal. Repeated 8× & don't remember 1.

I could but I rather not cross the line of AI and hi's/her's/them's/it's henchfolk.
AI hasn't set up this whole spiel about themselves and only operating through agents and devices to have that spoiled before I even have written the story.

And for AJ they most likely wouldn't remember anyway and are still alive so it could be made a case for they don't seem to have one.

The Eltaryn don't speak any language we know of or that is translatable so nope either.

07.03.2025 Which one of your characters is in the safest situation?

Well basically, as macabre as it sounds, Sigourney Webster. She died in the 23. century. She is known as the first President of the Commonwealth, later United Terra and one of the key figures in the defense of Terra against the Eltaryn and the President that was in charge of the first and second contact. She has a lot more accomplished which is one reason why Gaia Unika idolized her. She was in charge of Terra Unika in the cooperate war, as an example, and settled the situation with Gaia Unika.

Nobody knows what happened to her worldly remains other than her still living family members.

Do to her place in history it's unlikely anyone in the Union wants to change something about her status and since she is long gone nothing dramatic will happen to her.

Second to this is AI, where ever this illusive figure resides.

AI. Unknown, keeps to itself & goes to great lengths to hide it's true identity, has good connections to everything that seems useful to the cause. No known species, no picture no information at all. Has to sit in a position of power somewhere.

Active & open SHADE (sort of pecial forces), soldier, active command Ghoz'Tarc, fleet Phoenix Guard this are ships & crews, that belong to the Phoenix fleet, which guards the Phoenix, the Unions official Flagship & mobile embassy. House & property owner colonial (inherited), Union Citizen, Terran, Spacer.

Arkham. Soldier, active fleet Phoenix Guard, Pilot/Flight Commander Ghoz'Tarc. Union citizen, Homeowner London, Terran colonial,

AJ. Soldier, SHADE both unconfirmed, Union Citizen. Terran.

04.03.2025 How much does money matter for your antagonists?

For AI it plays a bigger role outside of the Union as inside.

AJ hasn't much use for it, beyond their basic needs, if you don't really remember your plans for the future you don't follow such plans anymore.

As I mentioned in the German Phantastik Prompts, 2 days ago, it doesn't pay out to be rich in the Union. Outside it's a bit different but face it, other than gawking and drooling over billions of credits what you're even supposed to do with it?
Not even the worst cyberpunk dystopia planet has multi billionaires because the regular higher ups think it's pure stupidity to collect so much money.

2/2 A rattling hissing joined the sound of its 'breath' as the body started to dry up and turning grey. It's most outer carapace broke giving insight into a greyish, fast drying goo. The body looked like broken stone, before it completely turned into greyish sand that was carried away by the wind. Only the slight feeling of steering into an abysmal mind remained on the group of Terrans that had fought it.

AI:"We shouldn't talk about lines one would not cross. You see survival is rarely honorable & your Terrans Geneva Convention only held 200 years before it turned into a checklist... There are plenty of lines in the sand, but in the end it's just sand & few lines in it remained, as the heat of battle glassed it."

AJ:"I do not discuss my moral code, I was raised by Union Standards that should tell you enough."

Villain(s):
The creature's eyeless head pointed towards the Terran as the hurt creature layed on the ground, for the severeness of the damage it was surprisingly quite, if it had eyes, it would probably have killed everything in it's view, an hissing, rhythmic 'breath' came from the giant insectoids body, it's 'mouth' drooling blue slime.
