#WordWeavers February 1
*blinks hectically with all twelve eyes*
"An introduction? Me? But I am only the nurse."
*rubs with one tentactle over their head and turns slightly more lilac*
"Ubbuluh... I'm Blaas Oounda, and as I said I am the nurse of the #HeraldPetrel. I also have to fill in for the doctor because she... Sorry, I can't reveal medical data to you. I am from Blunkaria, and I am a Blunkarian, this is how the most prominent sentient species on my homeworld is called."
*lets ten eyes wander back to their patients and only keeps looking at you with two*
"Being a nurse is a very traditional career path for people like me. We are good at jobs that require much attention to detail and being observant. Because of our two heads we can do a lot of things at the same time. I know that a lot of humanoid species are confused how our six extremities work and they call them 'tentacles' because they don't have a different concept for them. But we can do everything with them where humanoids would have to use their hands or feet."
*wiggles all six tentacles with confusingly many fingelike smaller tentacles*
"As I said. Humanoids are not really comfortable with us but they like that we work for them. They are very strange, humanoids. They seem to be so limited. I have no idea--" stops as if they already said too much. "I am sorry, I have to care for my patients now."
*wanders off quickly, using four tentactles as feet*

Ohun Lampayar is the translator on the #HeraldPetrel but also the shaman of his tribe and a Drawan of the Brotherhood of the Dark Lake. Depending on how you see religion this might count as a creative job.
Raffi would love to be a game designer or screenwriter but those jobs are hard to get at The Company and she is far too creative for the boring series and games they produce there. So, she would go Indie, which isn't a job or even possible in this society. And of course, if she landed such a job she would have to part with being the assistant of Harry Galahad and that she probably wouldn't do.
