@sand It isn’t as good as Superstore.. but I really like the cast and it’s a fun watch. Superstore is up there as one of my favorite sitcoms of all time! American Auto was terrible, but this is good. I love David Alan Grier, Kaliko Kauahi, Josh Lawson and Wendy McLendon-Covey. They’re so talented. The cast is good overall tho. I like that it’s a comedy but can be serious, too. But not too deep into the medical stuff. What about you and your wife? How do you folks like it?
@biped808 Agreed! 100% - Superstore is one of our all-time favorite shows. Was so sad when it was cancelled. So smartly written and relatable. Loved the cast which is what inspired us to catch St. Denis.
Truthfully this show isn't as funny. Maybe because we had higher expectations? Or maybe because a hospital is not as relatable as retail work? We're in 5-6 episodes but aren't as invested as we were with SS. St. Denis is good but not great... in my humble opinion LOL
Have any other fun comedy show recommendations? We don't have much time between work and kids but a break from the dreadful news cycle would be nice.
@sand I totally agree with you about St Denis. I watch it since I have Peacock! I do think Laid is a pretty good/quirky sitcom which is pretty funny. Also, I really like Resident Alien on Netflix.
