But it's less about respect for others and more about respect for "corporate culture" which doesn't deserve much respect as far as I'm concerned.

@sand This resonated with me even though I don’t drink coffee. I haven’t been in this exact situation, but I understand. I personally would want my coworker to have their coffee so they function and feel better, but I know not everyone would feel that way.
@biped808 where did you learn your compassion for other people (strangers)? By now it shouldn't shock me, but I often wonder how you can be so thoughtful and kind in a world that is often cold and hurtful.

I think I was just raised to be very empathetic towards others and try to put myself in other people’s shoes and treat folks how I’d want to be treated.
