My wife’s birthday is in a couple of days and I need gift ideas to keep me out of the dog house.
Early/Mid-40s teacher. Impossible to shop for because of her particular style and own money

@sand A weekend getaway, that she doesn’t have to plan, for the two of you or just for her? A staycation for her while you and kids go away for the weekend and leave her all alone in her own house? Gift certificate to her favorite clothing/book/hobby store or restaurant?
@LGsMom thank you for the thoughtful response! But between childcare and elderly care, weekends are usually already full of activities and family.
She loves to shop and hunt for a deal so maybe a shopping excursion further out than where we usually go?

@caterinevauban I did this for her 40th! A pretty poster with 40 things I love about her. Maybe I can save a few bucks and scribble 3 extra things about her… good thinking!

@caterinevauban So I looked into Cameo and it's def something I'll do for her next year. It was an added $140 for 24hr notice which bumped it up to nearly $500 for a short message from her favorite soap star.
Could buy her a Dyson for that kinda money. Great idea tho, maybe just need to find a cheaper celeb - Thanks!
@sand does she have an ebook reader? If not, that might be an option (recommend Kobo from personal experience)
