To All USians who are angry when Canadians push back at your "just joking" about joining or annexing Canada, or when you say, "Invasion of Canada will never happen" think about this...
Obviously we are not the only country to feel justified with defending ourselves because NATO military chiefs had a closed door security summit in Paris and the US was not invited. Japan and Australia were there.
@Snowshadow and to every USian, we are all hearing stories from our friends who are coming back from vacations from everywhere (I just talked to people who were on a cruise in South America), who are reporting that they are being taunted with this BS by some of your compatriots. YOU may not think it’s serious, but a lot of your fellow citizens are all in, and they will happily sacrifice you on the altar of their cult.

I hope USians learn that they can no longer ask us to accept the Not All Americans excuse anymore.
@Snowshadow just like we cannot accept “not all white men/women” and “all lives matter.” This refusal to accept responsibility is all part and parcel of the same culture that breeds this BS.

@ravelin no offence intended, but when do you move beyond “dissatisfied,” and become furious? Because, that anger is what you are going to need to draw on if you want to change things. @Snowshadow
@Lynnd @Snowshadow Oh, I've been furious. It hasn't gotten me anywhere on my own. What we need is to figure out how to make everyone else as furious as I am.
@ravelin I don’t know where you live, but I would bet that there are some people in your community trying to mobilize. Go find them! @Snowshadow

@ravelin I’m glad to hear it! I have been getting so much apathy and hopeless despair about what can be done from so many USians, that I automatically default to my “do something” responses. @Snowshadow
@Lynnd @Snowshadow It's a good and important message. The main problem here is that not enough people are active, and those that are need encouragement to stay active. Keep doing it.
