👆 correction: a few people at iNaturalist say it’s an North American Toad, for lacking the discs at the fingertips that tree frogs would have. And yeah, he’s pretty chunky in this slightly blurry photo, so, toad it is.

A teeny but chunky olive green toad in my hand, close to the ground littered with fallen leaves, a second before jumping off. He’s facing away, my thumb is partially obscuring the left shoulder of the toad.

Pattern is right for a Gray, but the color on my screen is more green. Probably just my screen.
