"Ya, I pooped in your yard. Whatcha gonna do about it?"

A white-tailed jackrabbit, a kind of hare, sits on top of a snowbank, facing directly into the camera. He has his white winter coat with dark markings up the ears and on the face. He sits, rear haunches on the ground, feet just visible sticking out from under his belly fur. His front feet are on the ground, the fur stained with dirt, but since he's on a bit of a slope, one foot is noticeably higher than the other. There is a significant quantity of rabbit poops, tiny black spheres a few millimeters across, scattered across the snowbank to frame right of him. His ears are erect and pointing in different directions to catch any danger that might be approaching. He appears to be challenging the viewer. "Whatcha gonna do? Fuhgeddaboudit."

I have a neighbour who's ... a proto-Karen, I guess? She was almost certainly a challenge to those around her many years before that term was popularized, anyway.

She complains bitterly about the jackrabbit poop when the snow melts. I told her once that it was good fertilizer for the lawn underneath, and she yelled back at me "NO IT ISN'T!"

I have other stories about that neighbour...
