Just watched a documentary called “Inside High Noon” on @PBS and found it timely & interesting. I have seen the movie a bunch of times, but never knew the story of screenwriter Carl Forman, his treatment by McCarthy and HUAC, Cooper’s defense of Forman despite his own conservatism, and how HUAC & civic complacency was woven into the script. John Wayne was a public jackass but Katy Jurado was badass as Helen Ramirez. I recommend if you’re a classic movie fan! #highnoon
