#Politics It just occurred to me that Trump is utilizing the same tactics as Marxists have used to recruit people to their cause. You start the cry of "they're ripping us off, they're getting wealthy at our expense, down with the pigs, etc. Then once you have them all worked up to a frenzy, they'll follow you anywhere, and you can control them like sheep. This a brand new opinion on my part, so maybe I have it a little wrong, heck, maybe I have it all wrong.
@Bruce That’s actually pretty spot on. #FDR called it government by organized mob, though to be fair he was describing something a little different. But it is absolutely the mob mentality. If you’ve ever found yourself on the wrong side of an online mob, as I unfortunately have, you have a bit of a taste. The mob can do no wrong, even when they’re wrong.
