Does anyone have the #eloquence 6.1 dlls with Korean and Japanese support? I can't use 6.6 in this context because it needs to be portable and so I can't register the dll files. #nvda #screenreader #a11y Maybe @Tamasg perhaps?

@fastfinge @Tamasg I had these at some point but now I have nothing that support CJK, not even 6.6 Either of you hav it? doesn't need to be portable

@zersiax @Tamasg You can get 6.6 at: eurpod.com/eloq66.zip

To make it work, you need to register the various ibm dlls, though.

And thanks to someone else on the fediverse, 6.1 with CJK support is here:

@fastfinge @Tamasg when you say register do you mean within the NVDA IBMTTS addon or some other thing?

@zersiax @Tamasg I mean like with Regsvr32 on the command line.

@fastfinge @zersiax yeah, usually it's ibmcmmc.dll (command center) that needs to be registered, you could also install the newer 700L and then just swap out the files inside its installer directory with Eloq 66, but that's way more messy. (datajake.braillescreen.net/tts)
Sadly yeah, great point about portable configs, could be a fairly big disadvantage on non-admin systems. My guess it's ibmeci.dll directly calling those other resources, so someone may need to create a cracked copy of that DLL to not require them, which is just still a no-no.

@Tamasg @zersiax From what I can tell the only difference between 6.1 and 6.6 is the sample rate. So for most people it's probably worth just sticking with 6.1, no?
