A message from Canadians:

There is no reason for Canada to even consider the possibility let alone discuss our position as a US state.
Let me quote our Prime Minister:
"There isn't a snowball's chance in hell that Canada would become part of the United States," Trudeau "
And as a Canadian I am very annoyed whenever anyone brings up the possibility of us giving up our sovereignty.
I am not alone in feeling this, so please never ask again because some of us might not respond with a civilized reply.

Would Canada consider accepting the US states of Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, New York, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey as a single new Canadian Province? We can call it New England 2.0.
We offer several successful large metropolitan areas, lots of arts and culture, and 7 NHL franchises. We'd even pay for the wall at the Pennsylvania border to separate the Canadian Expansion of New England 2.0 from 'Merica.
Please show me where I said this was open for discussion?
