It seemed like my battery was draining very quickly on my iPhone, so I became concerned and looked in the battery settings. For those attending CSUN, the Cvent app is lovely, but it seems to munch my battery nearly as quickly as GPS apps. So I will treat it as being in that category and close it from the app switcher when I am not using it. Just thought this might be of help to someone.

Yes, and be careful if you use GoodMaps for indoor navigation. It is much better this year. But, it still drains the battery so taking it out of the app switcher when not being used is a good ideea.
@JohnGassman I couldn't seem to pan right or left well enough to even proceed in the tutorial. I'm not sure what I am doing wrong, so that is kind of disappointing.

It does take a minute or so to get settled. But later in the afternoon yesterday, it worked fine so give it a try again today.

It does take a little longer than I would like to get ready to begin giving you directions but once it does, it does a pretty good job.
I think it's time to go grab a glass of wine while I'm waiting for dinner and so that's where I'm going right now to meet Larry
