@zyz @feditips Thanks! I checked it out but couldn't find anything specific to privacy (lots of good info on certain aspects of it though). I ended up putting a document together myself on just the account and server settings, hopefully there will be a more extensive guide one day.

Hi KuJoe - I think you and others will find there are 3rd party apps - not least but not only the @MonaApp - that do offer the ability to edit and ‘quote’ posts. There is a growing number of excellent Mastodon / Fediverse client application contenders out there. Enjoy!

@logienick @KuJoe @feditips I like #IceCubes for a lot of its #Quoting and #Editing functions, but I prefer #Metatext for almost everything else.
