I dropped by the library and randomly picked up a book and a DVD (each which I knew nothing about).

The book is The Job, by Ellen Ruppel Shell. I read the first 50 pages. Interesting so far. It's non-fiction.

The DVD is Alias Grace. It's a fictional CBC series written by Sarah Polly and based on a Margaret Atwood novel. I've watched the first two episodes. Gripping so far.
