Hard to believe, it's been almost 20 years ago that I took a train from London to Canterbury and for a fleeting moment saw fields of gold blur past the window. Nine years later, I recreated that memory and now even more time has passed.

I didn't have my camera out and it was over so quickly... I found out those radiantly gold fields were rapeseed (or canola in the US). I hoped for a repeat on the ride back. No such luck but the sight of those glowing golden fields, the blue sky and the clouds stayed with me for years.

In 2014, I realized I didn't need a TARDIS to recreate that hauntingly beautiful memory. And now almost 20 years later I spotted this one and thought it was worth sharing that memory. Although it feels unreal that much time has passed.

Curious to know if anyone else had a memory stick with them for so long?
