Drought is largely expected to persist (brown) and expand (yellow) in the Southwest to the Dakotas and Minnesota through May, according to the US Seasonal Outlook. Drought is also expected to expand in Florida and Georgia. It may improve/be removed (tan/green) in pockets of the Midwest, Northeast and Pacific Northwest.
