I am impressed Daredevil’s finale threw as many metaphorical punches as it did.
I knew Marvel was going to do something with the Punisher character because they really hate how the it has been co-opted by so many right-wing fringe groups and they didn’t like that. They wanted to undermine that whole phenomenon as much as they could. I think they did a good job.
But wow, the rest of the episode: the rich being held prisoner in cages? Fiefdoms? Capitulation?
I mean, the whole season has been a mirror, but this last episode pulled out all the stops and pretty much laid it bare.
“Resist. Rebel. Rebuild.”? Wow.
I hope the message sinks in to the correct brains somehow. I’m sure the season will be disparaged and assailed from all the butt-hurt folks it’s mocking, but I gotta say as a whole it’s pretty brave of Marvel and Disney right now. Huh.

@Coreyartus I wonder how much of the old Daredevil show is canon. Did he fight ninjas? Did he meet Iron Fist, Luke Cage and Jessica Jones? Did he find dragon skeletons in a mineshaft under New York?
And damn I wish Spidey was around at a time like this, he's great at fighting humans-with-guns.
@Cher I think a lot of those things happen in the comics, but I don’t think they happen in the way they did in the show. Daredevil has been around for decades, so there have been plenty of team-ups and storylines to merge and adapt and invent...
