How was your Halloween?
We had a lovely day yesterday. The weather was dry and cool. We sat outside drinking wine and tea as the trick-or-treaters came by in their colorful costumes. We encouraged them to take lots of candy from the bowls; some gladly obliged, some took only one piece. They started arriving just after sundown and all was quiet by 8:45. We are now left with way too much candy. The landfill rats will soon be be living the sugar high life.
Our latest character, Chesty {TheDefinitelyNotAMimic} joined other Players of the Patchwork to pass out candy to costumed Trick-or-Treaters last night for Hallowe'en!

1) Kiddo did not yet totally age out of going out to #trickortreat with friends (some of whom had maybe never gone before?). Fun talking with one of the other parents.
2) #Tacos afterwards!
3) #Pilot #VanishingPoint #fountainpen arrived! Fun getting to know it. (Each fountain pen has quirks - part of the joy!) It is a little scritchy, but I like the line quality. Ingenious retractor design choices.
We set a new record with 154 trick-or-treaters this year!
The potatoes were so popular that my wife Doordashed more part way through the night.
When I took my kids out we overheard other houses being asked if they had any.

One house asked if he’d come back and be our President. 
Saw a kid who was like 12 years old trick-or-treating tonight dressed as Pepsiman. He was so excited that I recognized it. I was excited and also confused how a 12-year-old even knows who Pepsiman is. #trickortreat #halloween

As always, I end Drawlloween with a drawing of Skullby. But since this is also the Release of Epic The Musical's "The Vengeance Saga," I added some Poseidon influence to the Trick Or Treater.
