GabThe 1st of April was a month since I became <a href="https://pixelfed.social/discover/tags/homeless?src=hash" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#homeless</a>. I spent the last couple days deciding what I wanted to say.<br> <br> First, I'd like to ask everyone to be kind to my fellow <a href="https://pixelfed.social/discover/tags/unhoused?src=hash" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#unhoused</a>. Please donate to your local <a href="https://pixelfed.social/discover/tags/foodbank?src=hash" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#foodbank</a>, as most are severely underfunded. <br> <br> Second, if appropriate, please talk with my fellow <a href="https://pixelfed.social/discover/tags/unhoused?src=hash" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#unhoused</a>. When I'm handing out food for them I became aware of how many people just wanted someone to speak to. <br> <br> Thirdly, if you can, go out and find the <a href="https://pixelfed.social/discover/tags/streetart?src=hash" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#streetart</a>/<a href="https://pixelfed.social/discover/tags/urbanart?src=hash" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#urbanart</a> in your area. There are beautiful works of <a href="https://pixelfed.social/discover/tags/art?src=hash" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#art</a> out there, <a href="https://pixelfed.social/discover/tags/graffiti?src=hash" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#graffiti</a> or otherwise. <br> <br> Fourthly, to the women of the world on behalf of all AMABs, I'm so sorry. You should not have to do the amount you do, endure the attacks you do; and all the while being told men "have it tougher." Women haven't even been considered "persons" under the law in <a href="https://pixelfed.social/discover/tags/Canada?src=hash" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Canada</a> for 100 years yet. I continue to be awed and humbled by your grace under fire.<br> <br> And lastly, to my <a href="https://pixelfed.social/discover/tags/enby?src=hash" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#enby</a> and <a href="https://pixelfed.social/discover/tags/trans?src=hash" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#trans</a> siblings out there, <a href="https://pixelfed.social/discover/tags/youareloved?src=hash" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#youareloved</a>🩷 I know people are being pretty awful to you all and the world is terrifying right now.
