Emily King<p>Went to see The Amateur (2025) today at the cinema.</p><p>I wouldn't say it's an amazing film but it's not terrible either.</p><p>Just kind of middle of the line thriller stuff.</p><p>Greatly changed in some ways from the 1981 novel it's adapted from, if some of the write ups I've looked at are anything to go by.</p><p>Also, they seemed to code Malek's character as autistic without really saying he was? But I doubt that's something the original novel had.
