So, I did a thing tonight and wanted to share it with everyone.

Random but over the years, I've written well over 100+ Sherlock Holmes-related stories on other sites. I’ve even written roleplay stories as various different versions of Sherlock Holmes, Mycroft Holmes, and John Watson. I wanted to move some of my stories to AO3, and perhaps add a few new ones while I’m at it. So, here goes nothing.

I'm including the accompanying video not because it has much to do with the plot of my story but just because I love it, and it's from one of my favorite films.

Another case is solved, this one with the help of Miss Adler. Baker Street is silent for a while, and Sherlock Holmes is more than grateful for her assistance. Confessions come to light in the aftermath.

A small teaser:

“He wasn’t wrong,” she added. “You /are/ a man, after all. And I am a woman.”

His head tilted, mind elsewhere as he replied. “You aren’t /a woman/, Irene. You are /the Woman/.”

@floofpaldi that's good stuff, though I thought Irene might be more... cerebral

@zorrobandito Thank you so much. To be fair, there wasn't any room for that (meaning any massive, wild, or intelligent observations) in this specific part of the series. She's going to be helping him solve a case in the near future, same as before this third story took place. I'm really looking forward to writing it. The ideas came to me the other day...
