There’s a cornucopia of insight and analysis about #AI in my timeline. Alongside the profoundly important critiques, members of the #BlindCommunity will also be aware of its game-changing role in image description. I want to find funding for a podcast exploring this. I think the wealthiest candidates with the most to gain, good PR for AI that is, would be OpenAI and Anthropic. Can anyone suggest an in to someone I might tap to find sponsorship for this idea?
@TheInvisibleUniverse are the descriptions actually any good? I only ever encounter them because they are automatically made on things I post at work on word and nine times out ten it's something useless like "photo of a computer" when it's a screenshot (containing text it should be able to parse!)
@joop That kind are usually done by some shitty part of Facebook or something. Actual AI generated descriptions are like through Be My AI or Jaws picture smart using Chat GPT or Claud are quite good.
