Cops used tower dumps to track not only suspect’s phone but also #vehicle. Detectives asked Verizon, T-Mobile, and AT&T to send information on all connecting devices to six relevant towers. They saw a Verizon BlueLink onboard Wi-Fi system had pinged two of the towers. According to a complaint against the eventual suspect investigators believe the BlueLink was inside his Hyundai.

Quando seleciono WPA3 nas configurações de segurança de uma rede WiFi no GNOME 48 do Debian Trixie, ela imediatamente quebra e fecha.

Só essa janela, não o sistema inteiro. Basta selecionar WPA3, não dá tempo nem salvar.

The current wording for the latest iOS 18.4 software update suggests, by omission, that you may be able to update without being connected to WiFi.

The wording I’m used to seeing usually says, paraphrasing, ‘be sure to be on a charger and connected to WiFi.’

Is it now the case that I can update iOS over cellular alone?

Or will I need WiFi to update?

Most have boring names like telstra1234 or aussiebroadband abcd.

But one is called Banana 1. I wish I knew who that imaginative person was. And whether I can expect Banana 2 and Banana 3 to arrive in due course.
