I have a loaner Macbook to aid in troubleshooting some issues one of our fully remote people has been having. He is the only person on the team with a Mac.

Holy shit after not using macOS for a decade I find it nearly unusable now.

For instance by default the only way to view your home folder in finder is through a keyboard shortcut. That’s STUPID.

I just want to figure out this guy’s problems and give this POS right the hell back to IT.

I need to add a new payment method to my Apple TV account and I couldn't log in. Now my account is locked. It's stupidly difficult to do some basic things on a Mac when you're not a Mac expert. I'm so frustrated I'm thinking about going back to a Windows laptop even though I hate windows. I've also been having a lot of problems with my MacBook being really slow and hanging up even though it's only about a year old. Pretty disappointed in my venture down the Mac road. #Macbook #Apple

Heute weiter gemacht mit #Nextcloud und #Fotos organisiert. Dazu die Fotos-App und die Erinnerungen-App verwendet. Bei der Übernahme der Detaildaten #exif von meinen #iOS Fotos hat es an ein paar Stellen geklemmt. Ansonsten sieht alles relativ überzeugend aus: erste Ordner konnte ich in der Familie teilen, u.a. einfach per Link (vorläufig, bis die lieben Leute alle ein Benutzerkonto haben…). Die Diashow klappt in #Firefox / #Linux und auf dem #MacBook, leider nicht auf #Safari / #iOS.

Can we get a mouse with magsafe? Many of us use our laptops on small tables that we have to move back and forth constantly, meaning that Bluetooth mice constantly end up flying and crashing on the floor. A magsafe ring on the bottom, paired with a magsafe ring on the table, would allow us to snap it securely to the table when not in use. It could even be used for charging the mouse as well. Thank you.
