myrmepropagandist<p>I’m so proud of Pica. She has done a great job recovering from her <a href="https://sauropods.win/tags/hyperthyroidism" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>hyperthyroidism</span></a> and becoming a potato again. <a href="https://sauropods.win/tags/PicaTheCat" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>PicaTheCat</span></a> <a href="https://sauropods.win/tags/catsofmastodon" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>catsofmastodon</span></a> <a href="https://sauropods.win/tags/cats" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>cats</span></a> <a href="https://sauropods.win/tags/cat" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>cat</span></a> <a href="https://sauropods.win/tags/potato" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>potato</span></a></p><p>A massive potato or perhaps a petite melon. Either way 10/10</p>

Examples are <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/Parkinsons" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Parkinsons</span></a>, <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/MultipleSclerosis" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>MultipleSclerosis</span></a>, <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/Hypothyroidism" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Hypothyroidism</span></a>, <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/Hyperthyroidism" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Hyperthyroidism</span></a>, etc.</p><p>The obsession with a <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/DiagnosticTest" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>DiagnosticTest</span></a> is a diversionary tactic used to justify clinging to antiquated beliefs!</p>
David Wakeham<p>Alternatively, if you see decreased sleep and increased restlessness, it could possibly indicate:</p><p>1) A lack of stimulation or boredom (e.g. an indoor cat without enrichment)</p><p>2) <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Hyperthyroidism" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Hyperthyroidism</span></a> - may see increased appetite but losing weight </p><p>3) Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) you would expect to see a fight wound and potentially the cat may have trouble falling asleep.</p><p>Of course if you are ever concerned, take them to a vet. </p><p>They will require a physical examination.</p>

Catherine Lancaster<p>My <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/caturday" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>caturday</span></a> night with Forrest. Last week Forrest was diagnosed with <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/hyperthyroidism" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>hyperthyroidism</span></a> and we&#39;re still learning our options. He is 17, and this is his first major health issue, so we&#39;ve been very lucky. We have a good vet so I have confidence we&#39;ll manage this issue well. <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/BlackCatsRule" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>BlackCatsRule</span></a></p>
