Crawling backwards up a steep slope is not easy to do on four legs (or two)!
We never did see what Tonttu was so interested in down there.
Rosie is a terrible garden assistant! Not only is her presence ineffective at keeping the resident ground hog at bay, but she also dug up half the things I just planted in the ground! (To be fair, I planted 2 purple coneflower plants and she dug up one.) However, afterwards she did watch me make the arm swoop motion that says "Come here!" to humans and she came to me so for that she got a treat. #dogsOfMastodon
Today is a contractor extravaganza! I intentionally scheduled a bunch of stuff while my wife is on her roadtrip since it’s so disruptive.
8AM: Roof & gutter cleaning
9:30: Replace hose bib
11ish: Backyard yard debris clean up
1PM: front yard maintenance
If you’re in the SW Portland area I cannot recommend Bruner Plumbing enough! Every person I’ve encountered has been kind and professional. Chris, who came this morning, is an absolute delight and Bertie loves him!
