We didn't have any biscuits.

So I made some biscuits - shortbread - and now they are cooling and it is taking A BAJILLION YEARS* !

I wrapped up last night by baking a batch of oatmeal chocolate chip cookies. Each cookie is 90 grams and I used techniques from the Levain cookie recipe. I think I forgot to add the full amount of oats (did 3 cups instead of 4?) but they turned out well. I have a few ideas for next time as well.

More Kid2 #cookies !
Came back home and there were these strawberry cookies
She has made the 
puree and strained and cooked it down a bit yesterday.
What a burst of flavor - not super strawberry but definitely there and utterly delicious maltiness. Very macaron like texture - crunchy and soft inside.
Kid2 says may not be made again - partner and I hope that's not the case!
I'll wait till after dinner for a second.
