The libs are spamming people via SMS from multiple numbers and ignoring requests to not be contacted again.

I %$#ing hate that politicians gave themselves blanket exceptions to the anti-spam laws.

Jaimee Rogers can go suck a fuck. On every number she SMS's from. #AusPol #AusVotes

I spoke too soon.

The pending application for the property I was "shortlisted" for has been rejected.

Thrilled I got to spend almost 4 hours in the car in the rain to see that place.

Meanwhile, #auspol DPHW suggests we end our call as I sound a little "emotional" after they refused to help. I made no threats, no angry swears.

I just asked them to tell me what more I could do. When I say I asked, it was more of a desperate plea.

At least they, in part, admitted they lied to me in past.

“The #PM is asked how Labor's announcements will affect #Australians who already own one home, but are looking at #purchasing a second.

It's simple, the PM says — #houses will be #cheaper.

"If you increase supply, you assist everyone because you have an impact on #
affordability," he says.”

If you’re a first home buyer, if you want to buy a home but they’re too expensive, Labor does not give a 💩

How Dutton’s campaign fell apart. It started on election night 2022, when they decided it would be enough to race bait, be nasty and just turn up in 2025 and expect to win. The Monday essay from New Politics. Read + share! #AUSPOL #Election2025 @Dlew919 patreon.com/posts/how-duttons-

“The #PM was asked whether he'd commit to retaining #Plibersek as environment minister for a second term.

PM "You know what I'll commit to? Trying to win this #election," the PM says.
Sensing more is needed, he adds the following:

PM "#TanyaPlibersek has been a friend of mine for a long time. We live in neighbouring seats, we're good #mates and she's doing a *fantastic job*."

This is the Labor Environment Policy day.

“In photos and footage from the launch, the #PrimeMinister can be seen getting ready to shake #Plibersek’s hand before his speech. She looks ready to give him a hug, while he puts his hand out for a shake. Plibersek then blows an air kiss before Albanese moves on to greet other #Labor ministers.”

Take notice of this as the #BodyLanguage will tell you what #Politicians will not discuss.

Looks like the woossou... emergency measures have plateaued it for now.
Also some of the re-investment promises just to keep the lights on could be helping, and may even drive it up again briefly.

But with the impact of all the closures so far, and the massive agriculture debt that's coming, it will probably continue to drop soon.

“There is a “growing backlash” to the #Coalition’s #NuclearPlan, ☢️ with #community groups furious at the lack of consultation and angered that the policy would not give local #communities the #PowerOfVeto and that #NuclearPlants ☢️ would be built regardless of local #opposition.

Opponents say the pro-nuclear ☢️ lobby group #NuclearForAustralia ☢️ has been hosting #InformationSessions but that it makes it overly difficult for people to attend and ask questions, and is not able to answer those #questions that are posed.”

Day 16 cont 🏡🏠🏚️🏚️🏡🏡🏠🏠🏡

“One is left to wonder, why do parties of both major #political persuasions keep doing things which they know will put upward pressure on #house #prices, and thus exacerbate the #problem they say they are trying to solve?

It’s hard to avoid the conclusion that the reason is that they know there are only about 110,000 people who each year succeed in becoming first home buyers. And even if you assume that for every one who does, there are five or six who don’t, that’s still only 700,000 or so votes, tops, for policies that might restrain the rate of house price inflation or halt it altogether.

Politicians also know that at any point in time there are more than 11 million voters who own their own homes, and more than 2.25 million who own at least one investment property. The last thing those 11 million to 13 million voters want is anything that might restrain – let alone halt – the rate of property price #inflation.” — #SaulEslake
