@shawnaatteberry At the moment I cannot see any alt text over your pictures. #Accessibility is a virtue on Mastodon. There are quite a few #blind or visually impaired people who use this medium with their screen readers for precisely this reason. There are also quite a few users who neither favor nor boost posts with media without #alttext text.

@Melanie_Buhl Du kannst den Tröt ändern: rechts unten auf die drei Pünktchen klicken, "Beitrag bearbeiten" anwählen und dann beim Bild unter "Bearbeiten" eine Beschreibung eingeben.
Barrierefreiheit ist eine Tugend auf Mastodon. Es gibt eine ganze Reihe von #blinden oder sehbehinderten Menschen, die genau aus dem Grund dieses Medium mit Screenreadern nutzen. Es gibt auch eine ganze Reihe von Nutzern, die Beiträge mit Medien ohne #Alttext weder favorisieren noch teilen.
