I finally completed my MCRN pistol from The Expanse, although it still needs decals... Shown in photo above a mostly 3D-printed version that also needs decals. But now I can start work on the holster.

Too bad these are both mostly forbidden at Cons these days, so I'm not sure if they'll ever really get shown IRL.

Reading #TheExpanse and by book three, I wonder how many times I've read the words "steel and ceramic" now.

Currently reading "Caliban's War" (book 2 in The Expanse series by James S.A. Corey) and came across this paragraph:

That second sentence is, in my humble opinion, really extremely freaking well-done for reasons I'm not qualified to explain but It. Just. Is.

I'm impressed by this series so far. Not sure how long it's gonna take to get through the 6000 or so pages but we shall see.

On page 502 of the hardback version of "Nemesis Games" by James S.A. Corey, the character Amos tells the character Alex that a bicycle is the perfect apocalyptic transportation device.

I liked that.

"The Expanse" television show was so much closer to the books than I would have thought. Really good adaptation. I even understand why they changed the few things they did.

If you’ve been enjoying Andor, I highly recommend The Expanse.
