Three big boy ratties on my arm and shoulder. One in the bottom is looking straight at you. He’s a dumbo, dark chocolate brown hooded white rat. Two on the shoulder are Rex brothers in heather gray and white. Gentle giants.

@loosenut Your Nigel reminds me of our Sammi. And it’s funny to me coz Sammi reminds me of Nigel Thornberry, saying, “Hello, poppet!”

Raturday! Bring on the snack!!!

Our trio of big rattie boys have their nose between the bars of their rat mansion, sniffing for a snack. Only their noses and slightly open mouthes are seen from this angle. Ziggy is squashed by Bertie the big boy in the middle next to Sammi on the right. Ziggy and Sammi are Rex brothers, and Bertie is an older gentleman rat joined the brothers eight days before this photo was taken, when we adopted them from the shelter together.

Sweet boys…

Trio of boy ratties in the hammocks in the rat mansion. Ziggy the white Rex with silver markings and pink ears and nose is in the top hammock, looking straight at me. Sammi, his biological brother and gray with white underside is facing left, sleeping in the lower hammock that almost touching the shelf. Bertie, the elderly dark chocolate hooded white dumbo is on the shelf, being a pillow to Sammi. A precious moment.

Ziggy didn’t want the green origami frog in his rat cave.

Ziggy the Rex rattie, who is mostly white with silver markings on his face and back, picked up the origami frog and is in the midst of gently ejecting it out of his rat cave. It’s a sturdy showbox covered with lichen green cotton toilet seat cover, and the small opening on one end. And it’s on the chaise lounge covered with a few layers of towels, aqua blue, white and pink.
Ziggy has a cute expression on his face, with dark eyes that say “I don’t need this.”
