We’re fighting fascists supported by other fascists who own social networks that fund them, broadcast their propaganda, further their agenda, and curb actual resistance efforts.

Nearly every one of them ONLY uses those very social networks we’re battling. And they ask us to join in.

It’s fucking absurd. The epitome of irony. “Fuck the nazi bar. Oh, BTW, we’ll be hanging out there. Join us.”

Just stop.

Despite everything, I made some good progress this weekend on the . I’ve known on some level for a while now that the scene that should be my midpoint is in the wrong place. But I’ve been resisting moving it because it feels too hard. I finally accepted I need to move it and fix whatever problems that creates. I did it, and the resulting damage was surmountable

Also I think in retrospect I’ve done this in every book so far hahaha

I always think I know my midpoint going in, but the darn characters have other ideas

I've been seeing a lot of creative #ProtestSigns. Many of which made me nod, some of which made me smile, and a few of which made me laugh out loud. This one made me tear up.

I was still a girl when the first #StarWars movie came out. The first Halloween costume I made for myself was a Princess Leia outfit. That character was one of the first strong female heroes I'd encountered.

"A woman's place is in the resistance." Indeed it is.
