Ross of Ottawa<p>I didn't have a crevice tool for my shop <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/vacuum" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>vacuum</span></a>, so I found something roughly the shape I wanted on <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Printables" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Printables</span></a> and then altered it in various ways. </p><p>Spent a couple of hours on it because I envisage a few other attachments I'd like to make as well. Getting a good fit figured out will let me base the additional tools upon this piece.</p><p>It sucks… i mean it sucks up <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/workshop" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>workshop</span></a> detritus quite well. I used to struggle with stringing when printing with PETG, but it's almost completely gone now.</p><p>Anyway. Johan<p>A simple lifebuoy model might be one of my favourite <a href="https://mastodon.nu/tags/3DPrinting" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>3DPrinting</span></a> models I've made.</p><p>Don't know if it's the fact that it's fully parametric and to scale, easily scale up and down by changing one single parameter, made with <a href="https://mastodon.nu/tags/FreeCAD" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>FreeCAD</span></a>, that it turned out exactly as I intended on the first try, that the little one is very happy with their new toy or that it's just very satisfying to look at.</p><p>Either way I'm very happy with the outcome. Ross of Ottawa<p>I like to store my jigsaw sitting upright on a shelf rather than laying on its side. The quick release makes it easy to pop the blade out allowing that. But when I pick up the thing again I have to go get a blade from the tool cabinet. </p><p>This tiny <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/3Dprinted" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>3Dprinted</span></a> clip holds a blade so I can quickly grab and go. A minor thing but I like that it eliminates a step or two. The tip is rounded, as a safety measure.
