Amanda Pavlick<p>Hello, Mastodon! Time for my own <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/introduction" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>introduction</span></a> - I am a Roman archaeologist, finishing my PhD (at U. Cincinnati) on architecture in archaic central Italy. I've dug in England, at <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/Vindolanda" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Vindolanda</span></a> on Hadrian's Wall, in the Republic of Georgia (<a href="https://mindly.social/tags/Pichvnari" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Pichvnari</span></a>), an in Italy at <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/PoggioCivitate" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>PoggioCivitate</span></a> and, primarily, at <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/Pompeii" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Pompeii</span></a>; my training at the latter two have particularly shaped how I see the ancient world (out of the box thinking, and expecting a site to throw just about anything at me!) <span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://a.gup.pe/u/antiquidons" class="u-url mention">@<span>antiquidons</span></a></span></p>
