Jamcanary<p>The Peene and much smaller <br /> Ryck are in timeless and beautiful Vorpommern (Pomerania). I love spending time there and was able to visit again this year. I hadn&#39;t planned to be on, around and in so many rivers in 2022, but seems it was meant to be. In 2023 I&#39;ll definitely be doing more.<br /><a href="https://mindly.social/tags/Ryck" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Ryck</span></a> <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/Peene" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Peene</span></a> <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/Greifswald" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Greifswald</span></a> <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/Vorpommern" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Vorpommern</span></a> <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/Rivers" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Rivers</span></a> <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/Pomerania" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Pomerania</span></a> <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/MiddleAgedOdyssey" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>MiddleAgedOdyssey</span></a></p>
Jamcanary<p>I&#39;ve always liked rivers but walking along them has become more and more important to me. This year the Clyde, Thames &amp; Mersey, as well as tributaries, have provided the backdrop to wanderings of peace and solace. I love the sense of time &amp; history, as well as the interplay between human endeavour and nature. The pics are the Thames at Erith and Mersey at Warrington.<br /><a href="https://mindly.social/tags/Thames" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Thames</span></a> <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/Mersey" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Mersey</span></a> <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/Clyde" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Clyde</span></a> <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/Rivers" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Rivers</span></a><br /><a href="https://mindly.social/tags/Erith" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Erith</span></a> <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/Warrington" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Warrington</span></a> <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/MiddleAgedOdyssey" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>MiddleAgedOdyssey</span></a><br /><a href="https://mindly.social/tags/SepulchralGloom" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>SepulchralGloom</span></a></p>
Jamcanary<p>Warrington town hall is quite something at night. Apparently the gates were due to grace a royal residence but never made it. Paid for by the sweat of the working class of course.<br /><a href="https://mindly.social/tags/warrington" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>warrington</span></a><br /><a href="https://mindly.social/tags/middleagedodyssey" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>middleagedodyssey</span></a> <br /><a href="https://mindly.social/tags/wire" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>wire</span></a></p>
Jamcanary<p>I&#39;m walking the Thames in bits. SE past Erith today and Conrad&#39;s sepulchral gloom never went away. Calm &amp; continuity.<br /><a href="https://mindly.social/tags/ThamesPath" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>ThamesPath</span></a> <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/thamesloop" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>thamesloop</span></a> <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/heartofdarkness" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>heartofdarkness</span></a> <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/middleagedodyssey" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>middleagedodyssey</span></a></p>
