It's one of my favourite grains for easy cooking. I often add a few tablespoons when slow cooking curries and Stovies stew so I don't need to also cook rice to serve with them!</p><p><a href="https://veganism.social/tags/VeganFood" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>VeganFood</span></a> <a href="https://veganism.social/tags/VeganCooking" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>VeganCooking</span></a> <a href="https://veganism.social/tags/LazyCook" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>LazyCook</span></a></p>
Cade the Cat<p>I wish leaf lettuce weren't such a hassle... You have to take it out of the fridge, break it off, wash it, put the rest back in the fridge, and you barely get anything out of it. I wish they sold pre-torn leaf lettuce in stores. Like outside of those unpleasantly bitter, limp-leaf salad mixes.</p><p>Maybe I should start just like, getting a head of lettuce, then tearing the leaves off all in one go and storing them in a tupperware or something. My only worry is, would that make them wilt faster?</p><p><a href="https://tiggi.es/tags/cooking" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>cooking</span></a> <a href="https://tiggi.es/tags/lazycook" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>lazycook</span></a></p>
